PBS NewsHour panelist on Friday argued "there is no question that Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is qualified to be on the court, should be on the court, and is not some radical but, as David [Brooks] said, is in the mainstream of American political thought and life." He misquoted Brooks, who put her in the mainstream of the Democratic Party, quite a different thing.

On Thursday's All In, MSNBC host Chris Hayes mocked the Fox News Channel for promoting Tea Party rallies in 2009, and then he compared that to promotional coverage of the Canadian Freedom Convoy. His guest was Canadian journalist Stephen Marche, who dismissed the entire protest as an American-imported fraud. In 2011, Marche wrote a syrupy and sickening valentine to Barack Obama in Esquire.

As the fictional auto company panics over the appearance of diversity in their commercial on the NBC sitcom American Auto, one white character summed it all up: “Are we finally allowed to say like, woke culture has gone a little bit too far?” A black employee said “Yeah, I don't think we're allowed to say that.” The white man responded: “Absolutely not then. Let's not say that. Carry on.”

On Martin Luther King Day, Republican Lt. Gov. Winsome Sears told Fox News that “When it comes to CRT, it is definitely being taught in some form or fashion. We know last year the Loudoun County school board spent about 300,000 plus dollars, that’s real money, that’s going to jail money, to bring CRT in some form or fashion.” PolitiFact lamely attempted to "fact check" this, and failed.
