For decades, the malfunctioning government of San Francisco has been the source of justified derision, but the latest example of its crazy operations might be one of the most absurd. Rick Moran reports for PJ Media that this bastion of leftism, this government that’s already running a $651 million deficit, recently saw Mayor London Breed (D) shovel out $16.1 million in cash and other resources…

In a move that has garnered little attention from leftist pop media – perhaps because it focuses on the fundamental rules for the federal government laid out in the U.S. Constitution – 20 state attorneys general have sent a warning letter to House and Senate “leaders.” Their warning is that HR 1 -- which was passed by the House Democrats last week, and contemptuously titled the “For The People…

Liz Warren is excited. Bernie Sanders is proud. Chuck Schumer is gleeful. And their Democrat co-conspirators in the Senate are united in their delight in Saturday passing their 2021 “COVID Relief Bill” aka, the “American Rescue Plan,” by a vote of 50-49, along party lines, with one non-voter, Rep. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) absent. Almost immediately after the vote, socialist Bernie Sanders (I-VT)…

Bureaucrats in Massachusetts appear to have modeled themselves after famous Cool Hand Luke character Captain, who, often told Luke, “What we have here is failure to communicate.” Of course, most every failure of the government to communicate sees the civilian portrayed as wrong, and the government as right, and, in this case, it’s a failure to communicate and a lot more.  As WHDH TV 7 reports…

Late Wednesday, March 3, the Democrat-controlled House by a party-line vote of 220-210 passed H.R. 1, the insultingly labeled “For The People Act” that attacks the power of people on the state level to control the parameters of their elections. And good luck to those who want to read the actual text of the bill on the official government website, because those “for the people” people like…

Isn’t it great when politicians leave business owners in peace and start their own ventures? When, rather than enslave others, they risk their own money, time, energy, and opportunities? Of course, to believe in such claptrap is to live in a state of denial, and prevents one from looking at reality, in a state such as California. As Christian Britschgi reports for Reason, two California …

Sometimes, even the most adroit gaslighters have to admit the unabashed falsehood of their clams, and such was the case of the “Great Resetters” at Klaus Shwab’s collectivist World Economic Forum, who, on Saturday, Feb 27, swiftly deleted a much-mocked and widely reviled tweet claiming that “Lockdowns are quietly improving cities around the world.” In the piece, the WEF argued that many people…

In a move that expands the government attack against private property and voluntary association, attacks the meaning of words, will force business owners to accept males as “trans-gender females” in women’s bathrooms, and that will force businesses to fund abortions and sex-change operations of employees, the House Democrat majority Thursday passed, by a vote of 224-206, HR 5 - the perversely…
