Last fall, MRCTV reported on the little-known Federal Reserve call for the nation’s six biggest banks to compose out-of-thin-air lists and “prices” of “anthropogenic climate change costs.” And now, the call is getting more attention, because economist David Barker has studied two of the responses, and he has written a detailed piece for the Wall Street Journal, expressing his shock over their…

Thrilling news… The Internal Revenue “Service” is readying to “serve” Americans even more aggressively than they already have. Reuters reports via The Free Beacon that, over the next two years, the IRS will use your money to hire 30,000 new agents – to ensure they take in more money from Americans. But, perhaps in the tradition of calling this enormous political vampire a “service,” they can…

A three-judge panel of the Fifth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals Wednesday rejected a suit brought by multiple attorneys general to block the Biden administration from hiking its utterly arbitrary, make-believe “cost of carbon” – a “cost” that it plans to use when calculating numerous federal “regulations” and “fines” for breaching federal “Climate Change” edicts. And if the above paragraph…

Thanks to an Epoch Times Freedom of Information Act motion, Americans now can see firsthand the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) internal documents showing what many liberty-backers have known since 2020: the federal government has been breaching the Fourth Amendment, obtaining medical data without getting public warrants, and tracking citizens for years. Jachary…

Given the documented government screw-ups and impositions that have damaged the supply chains even as centrally-controlled, government-tied, banking and federal debt-financing have destroyed the buying power of our money, one might think he has seen it all when it comes to signs of the rotting economy. But sadly, what we’ve seen is the tip of the proverbial economic iceberg, and a new story helps…

In a move that epitomizes the descriptor “mixed bag,” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed the “Live Local Act,” a “pro-affordable housing” bill that mixes the negative of state subsidies and redistribution of tax money with the salutary action of banning local governments from imposing the euphemistically-titled “rent control” and highly restrictive zoning codes. Reason’s Christian…

It might be impossible to determine how long the supposedly “elite” publishing world has been run by people with agendas, particularly postmodernist left-wing ones. In 2015, I declined a mid-range horror publisher’s proffered contract because someone from the company emailed to ask me when I was going to split my “political presence” from my “fiction presence” on social media by using a new name…

If one were to create a Venn Diagram of A) those who suspect that “Energy Secretary” Jennifer Granholm’s Cheshire Cat grins hide an avaricious thirst to ban more than gas stoves and to impede American consumers and suppliers from getting cheaper petrochemical energy, and, B) those who recall the decade-old federal threat to “regulate” out of existence the incandescent light bulb, the two…

As with many political moves, S. 686, aka the “RESTRICT” Act term is an acronym. It stands for “Restricting the Emergence of Security Threats that Risk Information and Communications Technology” – and behind its veil of “protection,” within its behemoth text, one can find a literal threat, coming from U.S. politicians. The key portion is Section Three, and analysis of those lines reveals…

There appears to have been something prophetic about last week’s report on Senator James Lankford (R-OK) confronting Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen over the new “Bank Term Funding Program” (BTFP) that the Treasury, Federal Reserve, and government-created Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) recently formed to “fully cover” – i.e. bail out – certain banks. As we noted, Senator Lankford…
