The leftist tradition of closing many American minds to the facts and thought processes required to sustain the human norm of individual liberty continues. In fact, while justified concern rages over Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter scrubbing videos of doctors offering testimonials and data about the powerful use of hydroxychloroquine (HCq) against the COVID19 Wuhan Coronavirus (something Anthony…

“Checkpoint Charlie”: the portal between East and West Berlin during the brutal Soviet occupation of East Germany. It was a place where communist soldiers would demand to see “YOUR PAPERS” if they were to allow you to be one of the few people granted permission to move past the infamous Berlin wall. It represented the spot where “special” people could pass, while others were restricted by…

Remember that dusty ol’ thing, the US Constitution? From their actions, it’s clear that many contemporary politicians either don’t remember it, or they’re jaw-droppingly unfamiliar with its so-called “rules." This definitely seems to be the case in the Washington, DC Mayor’s office, where, as Bill Binion reports for Reason, Mayor Muriel Bowser has told retailers to call the metro police if they…

Perhaps this is the way many American Colonials felt upon hearing of the Boston Tea Party, or, to give it a musical spin, perhaps this is what Detroit area fans felt when they heard protopunks the MC5 shake the landscape with “Kick Out the Jams” in 1969. Regardless of comparisons, there comes an epic, supportive, righteous sense of power from seeing the audacious and courageous owners of…

At times people do things that inspire others to learn, to step back and realize, “Hmm. I have to remind myself about a few things.” This is one of those times. Neil Shah, of the Daily Caller, reports that the City Council of Louisville, KY and its almighty Mayor, Greg Fischer, are eager to follow the path of politicians in nineteen states, declaring that “racism is a public health crisis.”…

In an example of how far the aggressive, authoritarian, and utterly lawless political class is prepared to go in their Tsarist zeal to make free individuals bow to their statist philosophies, Plantation, FLA police Monday handcuffed, arrested, and took away fitness center owner Michael Carnevale, accusing him of failing to comply with an “emergency order” issued by Broward County Manager, Bertha…

There’s an old saying: “There are lies, damned lies, and statistics,” implying that stats can be turned into -- or support – some of the worst lies in history. Then there’s the saying, “There are real numbers, and then there are government statistics,” implying the same thing, perpetrated by agents of the state. And, as repeatedly has been shown in other government agencies handling pandemic…

Following in the footsteps of Maine Governor Janet Mills (D), Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker (whom Joe Biden recently confused with jazz great Charlie Parker) just issued an “Executive Order” banning visitors from many other states unless those temporary immigrants show proof of being “COVID19-Free” or they quarantine for fourteen days. And, goodness knows, quarantining in the…
