(UPDATE -  7/14/20 Lawyer Albert Watkins, representing Mark and Patricia McCloskey has turned over Patricia McCloskey's handgun.) In yet another insult and attack on the rights of two people who never set out to harm anyone, whose property was invaded and damaged by a large armed gang, St. Louis police served a search warrant and entered the home of Mark and Patricia McCloskey on July 10,…

It might be a momentary anomaly, but it’s important – not for the superficial politics of it, nor for the demonization in which certain politically-minded people will engage to stir-up anger and further hide the sweeping, overpowering destruction of private businesses and homes. One need not support or oppose Trump to know that any response the president offered to Democrat Minnesota…

It’s not as if Americans haven’t been warned. In 1987, writer Allan Bloom argued in his best-selling book, “The Closing of The American Mind” that “higher education” had failed the U.S. political system by fostering the leftist, anti-free speech mentality, pushing intellectual uniformity, and promoting “truth” as dictated by the hectoring Cultural Marxist mob. Sounds familiar. And Bloom’s…

One of the most iconic scenes in George Orwell’s dystopian novel, “1984”, is the battle between protagonist Winston Smith and his torturer (name withheld to avoid spoilers) as the torturer repeatedly holds up four fingers and demands that Winston agree to the state dictate that “two plus two equals five.” It’s a few years after 1984, but it seems as if at least one Social Justice Warrior has…

Sometimes, it’s easy to long for the era before the internet. Those were days when, if one wanted to find video or audio examples of incomprehensible behavior, one had to search video stores for bad movies, or, better yet, search used record shops for the dusty, hard-to-procure records of Mrs. Miller or The Shaggs. They were fun to discover, partly because they were rare, but also because…

There are few things more expositive of government overreach and malfeasance than clear breaches of things like the Bill of Rights, and, across the U.S., state politicians and bureaucrats have been busy doing just that. But there’s another revealing manifestation of government injustice worth frequent reiteration: hypocrisy, and, surprise, we get to see both the breach of the Constitution and…

It appears as if California Governor Gavin Newsom is a fan of the Hollywood “reboot.” On July 1, he rebooted his arbitrary, anti-constitutional “COVID19 Lockdowns” in, fittingly, 19 state counties, stating that his extra-legislative edict would apply for the next three weeks. It’s the kind of unilateral command that inspires many Californians to ask how he can justify it constitutionally,…

Liberty-loving writer and publisher of the respected Trends Journal, Gerald Celente is fed-up with New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s attacks on civil liberties, and he’s engaging in high-profile action, doing what many Americans are ready to do. Mr. Celente has organized a massive public rally at “The Four Corners of Freedom”, the intersection of Crown Street…

As FoxNews reports, three Hollywood titans recently got online to cajole – and slightly shame – others into wearing medical masks when they go into the “public.” For Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, the moment came during a publicity chat to promote his upcoming film, “Greyhound,” and, since the couple was diagnosed with COVID19 many weeks ago, the subject came up. Hanks stressed that the three keys…

Once more, John Roberts has sided with the majority of U.S. Supreme Court “Justices” to smother the original meaning of the very document that created the Supreme Court itself. This time, the majority was composed of “conservatives,” and the ruling has supposedly upset leftists in America, because, as a New York Magazine Intelligencer headline proclaims, the “Supreme Court Restricts Independence…
