The House just unanimously passed a bill making it a federal crime to abuse an animal. And while that’s all fine, well and good, this same House under Democratic leadership still refuses to take up a bill that would mandate medical care for human babies born alive following a botched abortion. Because apparently, kicking a dog is worthy of jail time, but leaving a living, breathing infant to die…

A man has been arrested and charged with assault after allegedly punching a Trump rally-goer in the face two weeks ago in Minneapolis, leaving the victim with a gash requiring multiple stitches. The Star Tribune reports 31-year-old Dwight Lewis was charged Wednesday in Hennepin County District Court with third-degree assault and remains in jail in lieu of $40,000 bail, and is set to appear in…

According to a disturbing new survey, seven in 10 Americans say the United States is “on the edge of a civil war” – and, perhaps even worse, they don’t want to compromise on anything to avoid it. Georgetown University’s Institute of Politics and Public Service found that 67% believing that the nation is nearing civil war, including 64% of Democrats, 67% of Republicans, and full 70% if registered…

The House has passed a bill making cruelty to animals a federal felony punishable by hefty fines and up to 7 years in prison, while House Democrats continue to refuse to hear a bill protecting human infants who are born alive following a botched abortion. While previous law only provided felony charges for animal cruelty when a person films or distributes footage of organized  animal fighting,…

In Canada, a man just sued 15 women – and cost one poor lady her livelihood – after they refused to wax his balls. In the U.S., Procter & Gamble just removed the symbol for "female" from their product packaging for Always feminine products so as not to offend "men" who menstruate." At the women's cycling championship, a man who parades around in a skirt just trounced his biologically female…

In a win for at least some semblance of basic decency, a Canadian court has ruled against a transgender woman who sued a group of salons for refusing to wax his unmentionables.  Jessica Yaniv, who was born a man named Jonathan but now “identifies” as a lesbian woman, had garnered no small amount of internet fame for filing a lawsuit against more than a dozen beauticians after they refused to…

Home goods retailer Bed Bath & Beyond has pulled its black jack-o-lantern Halloween decorations over complaints that they resemble "blackface" and are therefore racially insensitive. Yes. An entire store chain just yanked some dark-colored plastic pumpkins off its shelves – and apologized for them – because a few people said they were racist. Welcome to 2019. The whole thing started…

After calling out President Donald Trump for using racist language and then getting called out in return, former Vice President Joe Biden has apologized his own use of the word “lynching” in 1998 to describe the impeachment of then-President Bill Clinton, saying that while it “wasn’t the right word to use” at the time, Trump’s use of the same phrase is worse…somehow. After Trump claimed that…

Dear wealthy supporters of socialism, Having read a recent Associated Press article addressing this clearly overlooked travesty, it has come to my attention that many of you have decided to throw your support behind socialism and government-mandated wealth redistribution as a means to help relieve you of the burden of prosperity you’ve accumulated in order to provide for the common good. For…
