Google searches for “NRA membership” have reportedly skyrocketed nearly 5,000 percent since the shooting at a Parkland high school that left 17 people dead – a massacre that the gun rights advocacy group had nothing to do with, but which found them the favorite target of a public witch hunt over firearms. The Daily Mail reports: Google searches for 'NRA membership' have risen roughly 4,900 per…

It’s probably appropriate that "comedian" John Oliver’s late-night HBO show is called Last Week Tonight -- his material is about as old and tired as his sense of humor. Case in point: Sunday night, when Oliver openly joked about incest in the White House, saying that Donald Trump has more “electrifying sexual chemistry” with his daughter than does her husband. “What’s crazy is, Kushner has…

The Democratic Party is sending fundraising emails allegedly written by a teenage Parkland shooting survivor explicitly asking Americans to turn out to the polls and vote for Democrats this fall. An actual email I just received from the DNC... from a Parkland survivor. pic.twitter.com/CG31VPS4kC — Ashley Rae (@Communism_Kills) March 2, 2018   Here's the email in its entirety, sent from…

This may just be the funniest thing you see all day. Well, except for Snopes fact-checking a satirical story about CNN using a magical washing machine to generate fake news. Actually…no. This is funnier. Delta Airlines made the news last week for being one of the first companies to announce they’d ended their discount program with the NRA following the Valentine's Day shooting at a Florida high…

On Tuesday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi blasted Trump’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement for rounding up hundreds of “‘hard-working, law-abiding" and "patriotic" illegal aliens during an immigration enforcement operation in the Northern California last week, where ICE arrested more than 150 illegally present aliens. Roughly half those arrested had convictions for crimes including…

While the average liberal celebrity grandstand is a major turn-off for most Republicans, it turns out that even Democrats don’t like it when Hollywood lectures Americans on gun control. A new poll from Zogby Analytics found that most Americans don’t like it when Hollywood types preach to them about the Second Amendment – especially, come to find out, Millennials. Zogby found that a majority 56…

The great minds over at the myth-busting website Snopes -- which used to be a decent place to figure out whether your grandma just got duped by the latest Facebook hoax, but has recently become more of a cheap left-wing propaganda peddler -- actually fact-checked a satirical story about CNN using an industrial-sized washer to "spin news." No joke. Well, the original story was a joke. It came…

Outdoor sporting goods store REI, along with Canadian outdoor retailer Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC), have suspended the sale of all products made by brands owned by Vista Outdoor, a company that happens to also own a brand  that makes sporting rifles. A note: neither REI nor MEC sell guns at all, much less sporting rifles like the AR-15. They sell canoes and golf clubs and hiking boots and…

A former YouTube recruiter is suing the video platform’s parent company, Google, claiming he was fired after he complained about the company’s hiring practices that he alleges purposefully discriminated against white and Asian hires. According to USA Today, Arne Wilberg is suing Google for allegedly setting quotas for hiring minorities over qualified white and Asian candidates, saying he was…

The Iowa Senate passed a bill Wednesday that would ban abortions in the state once an unborn baby’s heartbeat has been detected. According to the Des Moines Register, the bill passed the Senate 30-20 and is now headed to the state’s GOP-controlled House. Iowa is already one of several states that bans abortions after 20 weeks, with few exceptions. Perhaps most amazingly, the bill was sponsored…
