It’s probably appropriate that "comedian" John Oliver’s late-night HBO show is called Last Week Tonight -- his material is about as old and tired as his sense of humor.
Case in point: Sunday night, when Oliver openly joked about incest in the White House, saying that Donald Trump has more “electrifying sexual chemistry” with his daughter than does her husband.
“What’s crazy is, Kushner has reportedly been on interim security clearance ever since he joined the White House, and that is for pretty good reason,” Oliver said Sunday, referring to allegations that Kushner omitted millions of dollars in assets in his financial disclosure forms, along with over 100 foreign contacts.
“So in other words, Kushner screwed up some important paperwork, keeps changing his personal wealth, and casually overlooked hundreds of foreigners. He truly is his father-in-law’s son. The only real difference is: One of them has electrifying sexual chemistry with Ivanka Trump, and the other is Jared Kushner,” Oliver said.
There’s also only one real difference between toilet bowl scum and this late-night “comedian” – one of them is tolerable, and the other is John Oliver.
