On Tuesday’s morning news shows, each of the three network anchors interviewed the two vice presidential candidates, Tim Kaine and Mike Pence, about their running mate’s debate performance Monday night. But instead of asking the candidates similar questions, the anchors coaxed Clinton’s VP Kaine and grilled Trump’s VP Pence.   Read the rest of the blog here.

After Keith Lamont Scott, an armed black man, was fatally shot by police officers in North Carolina on Tuesday, Black Lives Matter protesters and rioters blocked a highway and attacked police officers, injuring at least 12 of them last night. Tuesday’s The View began with host Whoopi Goldberg repeating the lie CNN appeared to start that Trump called for racial profiling. On Monday’s The View, the panel opened by discussing Hillary Clinton’s health update this weekend that she’s been diagnosed with pneumonia, after her campaign repeatedly denied she was ill. Co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar came up with creative excuses to defend the campaign’s lack of transparency, by carefully avoiding the fact that they lied. Whoopi weirdly excused Clinton’s behavior as…
