Mark Finkelstein

Mark's undergrad degree is from Cornell. He has law degrees from SUNY Buffalo and Harvard. He practiced law in NYC, Mexico City, and Paris, before doing a stint as a pro tennis manager and tournament organizer. He returned to his college town of Ithaca, NY and got involved in real estate development and politics.

In 2011, Mark moved to Pecan Plantation, TX, and in 2018, to Oak Island, NC.

Mark's a dog lover who has used his small plane to do many dog-rescue flights. He speaks Spanish and French.

On Hardball, Chris Matthews asks President Obama to discuss Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton in the context of qualities required in a president.  The president says he is not "going there," but cites as important "more than anything a sense of connection with the American people," something at least in Dem circles associated more with Biden than with Hillary.

On 'This Week With George Stephanopoulos,' far-left Dem congressman Keith Ellison quotes President Obama as having said "if you like your decent insurance, your insurance that works, you can keep it."  He also said that by his apology, President Obama was saying "if you misunderstood what I was trying to say, I'm sorry."
