A homeowners association has sued a military family after they refused to remove a sign from their yard supporting their 20-year-old who is fighting in Afghanistan. The family said the sign will come down if a judge orders it to or when their son returns home. The owners also say many other neighbors have signs on their lawns which are not being called into question.
After 102 years of service, the Walter Reed Army Medical Center is closing. The Army hospital will be merging with the Navy hospital to create the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
