According to the Chicago Tribune, roughly 6,000 communities in the United Methodist Church are splitting away from over discrepancies over LGBTQ issues.
As of late, many churches are affirming unbiblical and delusional senses of reality and identity and real Christians are getting fed up!
As most know, gay marriage is against the teachings of the Bible. The Lord’s word directs that marriage is to be a covenant between a man and a woman. With the exponential rise in everything LGBTQ, many individuals are recognizing that they'd rather to follow a woke mob instead of the most ultimate power, God.
This has resulted with some congregations expressing themself in 236592 different ways, and many churches have pandered to the woke mob and caved to its progressive teachings.
Supposedly many of the 6,000 congregations leaving are “planning to join the Global Methodist Church, a new organization that will neither ordain or marry LGBTQ people,” as a way to split from those current Methodist churches who are all for the gay stuff.
The Global Methodist Church launched last May and is a more conservative congregation that emphasizes traditional biblical principles. Honestly, the fact that there even has to be a “branch” that follows the Bible is ridiculous. Christian churches should not be wishy-washy on what the Lord means in His word. It’s clear as day regardless of whether someone likes it or not.
If you haven’t noticed, many churches are supporting ideologies that contradict with the Lord’s teachings. A preacher in California was at the podium and explained how God is nonbinary, gay, transgender, black, Asian, and a whole bunch of other stuff. He also claimed that “we” are God.
One leader at another church posted a TikTok explaining how his congregation is “LGBTQ+ Affirming” and “Pro-Choice.” Other churches are inviting drag queens inside to speak and are sponsoring LGBTQ events for children.

At the same time, churches who don’t pander to the leftist mob are getting violently attacked and ridiculed! Just this week alone three crosses at Sylmar Christian Fellowship Church in California were lit on fire and the situation is being marked as a “Hate Crime.”
This truly feels like we’re living in a dystopian universe.
As The Blaze reported, United Methodist Church Council of Bishops president, Bishop Thomas Bickerton, stated, “I don’t think any of us want to see any of our churches leave. We’re called to be the body of Christ, we’re called to be unified. There’s never been a time when the church has not been without conflict, but there’s been a way we’ve worked through that.”
Yet, he’s the same guy who wants all this garbage in churches. Essentially, it appears he, along with many many other “christians” care more about facilitating an environment of “inclusivity” that panders 100% to the woke progressives than one that actually affirms biblical theology.
I can't say I blame the 6,000 for leaving.
