ABC News’s conspiracy mill (a.k.a The View) was firing on all cylinders on Tuesday as moderator Whoopi Goldberg seemed to suggest that bail rules were newly invented to keep former President Trump out of jail before his classified documents trial, or at least manipulated. Despite the fact that it was federal prosecutors who decided not to push for Trump to pay a bail amount, Goldberg went on to warn “that the judicial system is at risk” since Trump was allowed to walk free.
Amid their conversation about Trump’s announcement that he was informed that he was the subject of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s January 6 investigation, Goldberg whined that Trump wasn’t already in an orange jumpsuit and that someone else arrested for espionage was demanding the same treatment as Trump.
