Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson was on fire Wednesday night as he blasted CNN and MSNBC liberals for “encouraging” riots and spreading “demonstrable” lies in the wake of a Kentucky grand jury’s decision not to charge Louisville police officers in the death of Breonna Taylor. Carlson’s condemnation of the two lesser networks came during his opening monologue, and before the end of the hour, tragically, news broke that a cop was shot at the so-called “protest” there.
During his opening comments, Carlson played a soundbite of the wise words of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron: “If we simply act on emotion or outrage, then there is no justice. Mob justice is not justice. Justice sought by violence is not justice.”
“‘Mob justice is not justice,’ that used to be the most obvious possible observation particularly coming from someone in the South, which for a long time had a problem with mob justice,” Carlson proclaimed. “You probably thought we probably all agree that was bad. You probably heard the Attorney General of Kentucky say that and think, ‘Hmm, that sounds sensible to me.’”
