Three weeks after he charged a re-elected Donald Trump “will execute whoever he is allowed to imprison, execute, drive from the country,” on Monday morning, Joe Scarborough warned that if Trump wins “American democracy could be over” and thus “the American experiment at an end one year from now.”
On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, he proceeded to rue the lack of panic in the Biden campaign at the prospect of Trump winning: “Why is the White House going around singing ‘Don’t worry, be happy’?” He demanded to know “when are they going to go out and start working on the campaign – not of his lifetime, of our lifetime? When are they going to start acting like American democracy is on the line and stop telling everybody to not worry?”
