Discussing the excerpt in The Atlantic of Kamala Harris' forthcoming book in which she attributes Joe Biden's decision to run in 2024 on "ego or recklessness," Joe Scarborough says that Biden couldn't have been talked out of running. But Scarborough didn't try! To the contrary, with his infamous "best Biden ever and f-you if you don't believe it" line, uttered just three months before Biden's disastrous debate performance, Scarborough was urging Biden to stay in the race. Scarborough admits that in their conversations, Biden was "slow, plodding, everything was really stiff, he spoke quietly and haltingly." But Scarborough says "I never once saw him where he blanked out." Heckuva a recommendation, Joe!
