In his first-ever appearance on Fox News Channel’s Special Report on Thursday, legendary conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh shared his analysis on everything from the Special Counsel report, to the 2020 election, to the “drive-by media’s” influence on our discourse. It was on that latter topic Limbaugh really ripped onto the liberal media for their twisted world view the last few years.
Responding to a question from anchor Bret Baier about if he’s ever seen the country so divided, Limbaugh said he hadn’t and placed the blame on the media. “The media use to at least pretend that they were not a participant in the ongoing events of the country. That they were casual observers that were fair and objective, but they’re not anymore,” he said.
“They have chosen sides and they have become political activists,” Limbaugh added. “And to such, there isn't any news anymore. There is a daily attack, countless attacks on Republicans left and right and led by Donald Trump, led by conservative media being attacked.”
