On the March 11 edition of Inside Washington, NPR veteran Nina Totenberg insisted that her taxpayer-subsidized network was "straight-shooting, factual," and said her colleagues were "horrified" by the statements top NPR executives captured by hidden cameras. "This plays right into the belief that you're a bunch of lefties," host Gordon Peterson told Totenberg.
"I know it does," Totenberg replied, " but it's not true."
