NBC’s Gregory Frets Obama Not Getting Enough Credit for ‘Rebounding’ Economy

David Gregory, near the beginning of NBC’s State of the Union coverage, insisted “the economy’s getting better,” declaring : “That’s what this President had to do. He had to make the economy better. And, yet he’s not getting a lot of credit for it.”

Then on the February 2 Meet the Press, Gregory again fretted to White House Chief-of-Staff Denis McDounough: “Do you ever wonder why the President doesn’t get more credit for an economy that is rebounding? What’s the disconnect there?”
