By framing their actions as on behalf of “parental rights,” she contended Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis are hiding how they are really “dehumanizing” the LGBTQ community.
“The truth is dehumanization as a tactic for politics is from war,” she asserted on Deadline: White House, “dehumanization is a tactic, it’s being used right now. Russians get their soldiers to rape children by dehumanizing them. Dehumanization as a practice is a tactic of war. It’s being deployed in our politics and people...sometimes lose the plot and admire its effectiveness.”
