Reacting to President Trump’s nomination of Brett Kavanaugh for a seat on the Supreme Court, an outraged Joy Behar demanded: “Why would a president, who is under investigation by the FBI for obstruction of justice and collusion, be allowed to pick a Supreme Court justice?” Citing how “many people...need abortions” and health care, she ranted: “How dare he be allowed to do this when he is under investigation!”

That earned loud applause from the audience in Manhattan.

Behar on the Tuesday, July 10 The View on ABC:

“He’s under investigation. We’re going to have Alan Dershowitz on today and we'll ask him. Why would a president, who is under investigation by the FBI for obstruction of justice and collusion, be allowed to pick a Supreme Court justice who will be there -- I'll be dead. There are many people in this room who will still be alive and need abortions and what have you, need health care. How dare he be allowed to do this when he is under investigation! [Cheers and applause]”
