The anti-Trump pontificators on ABC’s The View spent the beginning of Monday’s show continuing to hype the indictment of the former President and what was to come. Interestingly, co-host Sunny Hostin demanded that cameras be allowed in the courtroom for the trial not just to allow them to gawk at the proceedings, but because reporters don’t know what they’re talking about and filter the information they share. There was also skepticism of the support Trump was receiving from the public.
Hostin told the audience that she found it “terrible that New York” was “one of only two states that does not allow cameras in the courtroom.”
Louisiana was the second.
“I testified in front of Congress in 2019 about this very topic,” Hostin recalled as she went on to warn that reporters don’t know what they’re talking about and selectively share what information they want their viewers to know.
