FNC's Carlson Slams Media Downplay of Captured Illegal Immigrant's Crime Record: 'That's What Propaganda Looks Like'

During Monday's edition of Tucker Carlson Tonight, host Tucker Carlson highlighted the media's hysterical reaction to ICE's detention of illegal immigrant Joel Arrona-Lata as he drove his wife to the hospital for a C-Section. After playing a clip of Acting ICE Director Ronald Vitiello describing Arrona-Lata as "far from an innocent victim. This person was wanted by foreign authorities for murder." Carlson then highlighted how the media downplayed the murder charge even after it became public, pointing out that The New York Times ran a headline titled "ICE Detained Man Who Was Driving His Pregnant Wife to a Hospital." After mentioning that "the murder part was buried in the fifth graf," Carlson asserted "that’s what propaganda looks like; artfully disguised lying designed to manipulate rather than inform."
