The co-hosts of CNN's New Day complained about lack of Congressional action on gun control Thursday morning, one day after a multitude of students across the country walked out of class to protest gun violence. Chris Cuomo complained that Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) introduced a bill to ban airlines from putting animals in overhead compartments on airplanes just days after a dog died after traveling for hours in an overhead compartment while Congress has still yet to do anything on the gun issue.  Minutes later, while interviewing Rep. Ted Deutch (D-FL), Alisyn Camerota mocked Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) for introducing a bill to make Daylight Saving Time year round, asking "Do you think that helps gun violence?"
