When NBC News spent a day inside the Obama White House for a prime time news special (a tradition for new presidents going back to 1981), Brian Williams enthused about how Barack Obama was "so different from all the men who've gone before him... We've seen people moved to tears after just the briefest encounter with him."

The two-hour special, which aired over several nights during the first week of June, 2009, was an Obama publicist's dream, with softball questions from Williams and the two making a burger run to Five Guys. Williams ended the first hour by both shaking hands and bowing to Obama: "Thank you sir, have a good night."
