ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Sunday asserted himself into a contentious political debate, declaring Donald Trump is not qualified, per the 14th amendment, to run for public office. “If you say he engaged in insurrection,” the former Democratic political operative maintained, “I don’t see how you can escape the plain meaning of the 14th amendment and say he’s qualified to run for office.”
