ABC: No Proof of Trump Claim Dems ‘Want’ and ‘Like Caravans’

At a recent campaign rally in Elko, Nevada, President Trump told the crowd that Democrats were “openly inviting millions of illegal aliens to break our laws, violate our borders and overwhelm our nation. The Democrats want caravans. They like the caravans.” On Sunday, the liberal journalists of ABC’s Good Morning American were irritated that Trump would call them out and claimed there was no proof of that and said the allegation was “unfounded”.

After huffing about Trump thanking Mexico for stopping the caravan of 3,000 - 4,000 “migrants”, White House correspondent Tara Palmeri asserted Trump was blaming Democrats with no evidence. “Weeks away from the midterms, Trump in Elko, Nevada rallying for Republicans in tight races and sharpening his attacks; blaming the Democrats without any proof for the crisis on the border,” she said.

“The ramped up offensive comes as the President threatens to take drastic measures and send the military to the border,” she added before praising former Vice President Joe Biden for opposing the President.

A short time later, co-anchor Dan Harris brought on Clinton lackey George Stephanopoulos to chide the President’s claim. “Trump once again blaming the Democrats for this caravan. Is that a charge – I mean it’s unfounded – is it likely to stick,” Harris asked.
