ABC Celebrates Amy Schumer Boycotting Super Bowl Ads for Kaepernick

On Friday, far-left comedian Amy Schumer announced that the reason no one would be seeing her in Super Bowl ads next year was that she was boycotting on behalf of mediocre quarterback Colin Kaepernick. During Sunday’s Good Morning America, ABC’s liberal anchors celebrated Schumer’s decision and were interested in seeing if her “peer pressure” would cause a larger “celebrity boycott” of commercials and the halftime show.

“Amy Schumer is sidelining her jokes and getting serious. The comedian saying she won't profit by appearing in any Super Bowl commercials this year and she takes aim at the NFL,” touted co-anchor Eva Pilgrim as she led into her report. “On Friday, Trainwreck’s powerhouse performer taking aim at the NFL and its treatment of former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick…

Reading from Schumer’s Instagram post announcement, Pilgrim said “‘I personally told my reps I wouldn't do a Super Bowl commercial this year.’ Adding, ‘Hitting the NFL with the advertisers is the only way to really hurt them. Stand up for your brothers and sisters of color.’”

To amp up ABC’s celebrity worship, Pilgrim boasted about Schumer “standing in solidarity” with “Hollywood royalty” in boycotting the Super Bowl. “Singer Rihanna reportedly turning down an offer to headline the 53rd annual Super Bowl Halftime Show,” she noted.
