Rising country music singer Bailey Zimmerman declared his Christian faith from the stage at a recent concert, in a video that is circling social media.

Zimmerman, a 23-year-old Illinois native, has only been in the music industry for a short amount of time but has quickly skyrocketed in the ranks of country music singers. During a recent concert in Detroit where he was opening for country superstar Morgan Wallen, Zimmerman quoted Scripture and attributed his success to his faith in God.

"Mark 23:9 says ‘Anything is possible for him who believes,’ and let me tell you why you should believe in that,” Zimmerman said as the audience cheered. “Two years ago I started writing songs in my grandpa’s shop, and now we out here on the One Night At A Time World Tour with Morgan Wallen.”

Fans of Zimmerman on social media applauded the singer’s statement and willingness to publicly express his faith. U.S. Army veteran and conservative commentator Graham Allen posted a clip of Zimmerman’s comments on Twitter, commending him for the public declaration.

“This is incredible!!! Bailey Zimmerman EXPRESSED his faith TO OUR LORD AND SAVIOR during a concert filled with THOUSANDS of people,” Allen’s caption read. “GOD IS SO GOOD!!! SEEK HIM!!!”

Zimmerman released his first major single, “Fall In Love,” in 2022 and earlier this year released his first album, Religiously, which includes songs about his faith and Christianity. His hit single “Rock and a Hard Place” held the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart for six consecutive weeks in April and May of 2023, and he currently has more than 9 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
