There’s a lot of things we can criticize police for, but that’s a topic for a different time. We should also recognize when the police do good things and carry out their duties to the best of their abilities. The school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday morning was one of those times.

Bodycam footage of Nashville police officer Michael Collazo was released to the public, and the video shows that police worked as quickly as possible to search the school, find the shooter and subdue the suspect in the form of justifiably shooting them dead.

The video isn’t as graphic as one might think, but all the same, viewer discretion is advised:

There are quite a few idiots in comments sections across social media that are questioning why it took so long for police to subdue the shooter. Those people probably ate paint chips as children, because reportedly, from the time of the call to police to the moment the shooter got what they deserved, it only took police around 15 minutes to have the situation in hand.

Police are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. Although, the police officers in the Parkland, Florida and Uvalde, Texas situations should be “damned” in one way or another for their lack of action.

Officers like Collazo, who was excellent in directing traffic to find the shooter, should be applauded when they do what people expect them to do in tough situations despite all the roadblocks put in their way by the bureaucrats that makes their jobs more and more difficult.
