This is going to be a really short blog. Because honestly, there’s not much I can add.
Except that the U.K. has sunk to brand new, ridiculously side-splitting levels of absolute insanity.
Just days before the Yorkshire Police Department tweeted the public PSA that "there is no safe place to stab someone” (thanks, Yorkshire!), the Regents Park Police in Camden sent out this handy notice:

Well, thank God they the caught the assault scissors. And the military-style screwdriver. Couple pairs of shifty-looking pliers.
Those are the dangerous “weapons” the cops seized and cleared from the streets.
Can you imagine the horror if they’d caught some poor sap heading home with his latest score from Home Depot? It’d be like a full-on FBI raid scene from a crime show, but with fewer actual weapons and a lot of drywall screws.
Good lord, Britain. Don’t y’all have some actual problems to deal with?
