Some of Congress’s most radical members — Reps. Cori Bush (D-Mo.), Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) — got together for an “abortion rights town hall” on Sunday, and they made some… “interesting” comments.

The Squad, minus their star, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), gathered in Minnesota to espouse their virulently pro-abortion stances, and they did not disappoint. The pro-abort quartet presented a cavalcade of varyingly extreme, ignorant, misleading, or just flat-out untrue statements about “‘repro’ justice” and its opponents.

Omar began by saying she was “shocked, heartbroken, and saddened” by Roe’s overturning—far stronger words than she had leveled against Islamic terrorists on September 11th (“some people did something”).

The Minnesota congresswoman further claimed that a hypothetical abortion right is about “the right to make choices about our own bodies, and not anyone else’s,” a statement flying in the face of the rights of unborn babies.

Rep. Cori Bush jumped in, excoriating the nation’s highest court as a “far-right, extremist, ableist, racist Supreme Court” and encouraging her supporters to “stay in their faces.”

For some reason she failed to mention the would-be assassin that traveled from California to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home in Maryland intending to seek revenge for Roe’s reversal.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley added some more fuel to the fire, sensationally arguing that the “far-right, imbalanced, extremist” court engaged in “intersectional, legislated oppression and violence.” This so-called “violence,” Pressley emphasized, would “disproportionately [impact] black, brown, indigenous, disabled, [and] our LGBTQ siblings.”

To the outside observer, it might be a bit questionable whether abortions would, in fact, be disproportionately denied to gay individuals, but hey, Pressley must know best, right?

She also falsely claimed that abortion is the treatment for ectopic pregnancies, a claim that even Planned Parenthood steadfastly rejected until very recently. Remember, constant obfuscation is a key component of the leftist playbook.

Bush, Pressley, Omar, and Tlaib’s “town hall” was a brilliant exercise in dishonesty, manipulation, and garbled wokespeak. We should expect nothing less.
