Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last Friday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) has proposed a bevy of radical changes to American institutions, from Congress to the Supreme Court. In her latest plea, Warren suggested that the federal government should use a loophole involving federal lands to offer abortions in states where they would otherwise be illegal.

Warren, known to many as “Pocahantas,” could barely contain her rage in a Sunday interview with friendly television host, Martha Raddatz. During the interview, Warren flamed the originalist faction of the Supreme Court for an alleged lack of “credibility” and “legitimacy,” finally proposing that “we need more justices on the United States Supreme Court.”

Warren didn’t stop at court packing, however. She called on viewers to support Democratic Senate candidates in favor of abolishing the filibuster — a reform that would allow Democrats to institute sweeping policy changes with a simple Senate majority.

Joining Warren’s cavalcade of insane schemes was the previously mentioned demand for the federal government to evade state laws on abortion by performing abortions on federal lands.

Warren had this to say:

We’ve got a lot of things on our agenda right now. First of all, we need to help the women who are pregnant right now and need help. And that means sending resources to the states like New Mexico, you know, that border other states [with more restrictive abortion laws], that are going to try to help out. It means getting involved by volunteering, by sending money. It also means asking the President of the United States to make abortion as available as possible with the tools he has, including medication abortion, including using federal lands as a place where abortions can occur.

What Warren is proposing is a complete and utter perversion of why federal lands exist in the first place. Giving the federal government the ability to manage land is placing great trust in Washington to use such land for noble purposes — for the preservation of America’s wilderness, or for stationing our country’s troops.

To use federal lands as a loophole, through which state and local laws may be ignored at the government’s convenience, is a massive betrayal of this trust. Worse yet, to abuse the concept of federal lands to enable something as barbaric as government-sanctioned abortions is beyond the pale.

When Warren rants and raves about the “legitimacy” of American institutions being eroded, she is talking from both sides of her mouth. Institutions mean nothing to her, as long as they stand in the way of left-wing power and the almighty Moloch.
