NJ Cop Saved 3 Lives Within 10 Days, Says He’s ‘Proud to Be a Police Officer’

Officer Brian Strockbine of the Evesham Township Police Department in New Jersey is being honored by his department after not only saving three lives in ten days, but also aiding in the capture of a suspect of attempted homicide charges connected to one of those incidents.

"Ofc. Strockbine is being commended for his relentless efforts in protecting lives and contributing in the arrest of an attempted murder suspect," Evesham police said Wednesday.

The first life Officer Strockbine saved was that of a woman who appeared to be dead on her front lawn. Strockbine was able to resuscitate the woman and discovered that she had been beaten by her husband who was allegedly attempting to kill her.

This rescue led to an emotional meeting between the woman’s “forever grateful” son full of happy tears and hugs.

“That day, I was so proud to be a police officer,” Strockbine said with tearful appreciation.

“I was so proud to work for this department. And you know, it just... it reminded me why I wanted to do this job.”

During the second rescue, Strockbine pulling an unconscious woman suffering a diabetic attack from a smoking vehicle. In the third incident, he performed CPR on a woman who had reportedly stopped breathing and stabilized her.
