A growing portion of taxpaying Americans have wanted to know what Ukraine is doing their money that the Biden regime has given them over the past couple of years. Well, we now know where a good size portion of it has gone, and the people who have wanted to withhold aid are having their suspicions confirmed.

Ukraine’s security service has reported that nearly $40 million of money that was given to the country to aid in procuring military equipment for their fight against Russia was embezzled by “employees from a Ukrainian arms firm” who “conspired with defense ministry officials,” according to the Associated Press and reported by NPR.

Isn’t that special? Who would’ve thought that one of the most corrupt countries on the planet would be guilty of corruption?

The report noted the following:

Security officials say that the current investigation dates back to August 2022, when officials signed a contract for artillery shells worth 1.5 billion hryvnias ($39.6 million) with arms firm Lviv Arsenal.

After receiving payment, company employees were supposed to transfer the funds to a business registered abroad, which would then deliver the ammunition to Ukraine.

However, the goods were never delivered and the money was instead sent to various accounts in Ukraine and the Balkans, investigators said. Ukraine's prosecutor general says that the funds have since been seized and will be returned to the country's defense budget.

At the very least authorities seem to have found the money and will allegedly be putting it back towards the war effort.
