Listen, I understand that President, these days, Joe Biden’s brain is akin to tapioca pudding. I get it. I understand that when a microwave bell goes off he thinks he has to walk out for a heavyweight fight. Can I get away with one more? I am perfectly aware that when he sees a plane in the sky he thinks he’s in Hitchcock’s “The Birds.” These things aren’t lost on me.

But does that make the president incapable of leveling threats against his opponents? Even if those threats are written for him to repeat like a parrot?

On Tuesday, Biden was remarking on the Senate passing the “Bipartisan Supplemental Agreement” that would essentially give — without hope of payback — Ukraine $60 billion more in aid.

And not only did Biden say what could be construed as a threat by some towards congressional Republicans, he — or whoever controls his presidential X account — repeated the words on social media.

“For Republicans in Congress who think they can oppose funding for Ukraine and not be held accountable: History is watching,” Biden said, as well as posted on X. “History is watching. History is watching. Failure to support Ukraine at this critical moment will never be forgotten.”

As previously mentioned, Biden’s words — particularly “not be held accountable” — were perceived as a threat towards Republicans by some on social media and in online publications.

So? Is this a threat? Or are people reading too much into an “allegedly” senile man’s words?
