At some point in a child’s life, we have to stop using the excuse of “They’re only…” whatever age they happen to be. Typically, that sentiment should be reserved for clear criminal action from age 13 or 14 on — just my opinion. If you’re at least that age, and you intentionally cause another person harm in different ways, you should be responsible for your actions. Basically, if you want to act grown, you should be treated like you’re grown.
According to the New York Post, a 16-year-old young man was arrested on Thursday for “allegedly” violently assaulting a woman, stealing her belongings and driving away in HER vehicle.
Where did this happen? The woman was walking up the steps of her Greek Orthodox church in Queens last Sunday. Maybe I’m a little biased, because I’m Greek Orthodox, but just watch the video and tell me your blood didn’t boil — regardless of the denomination.

The teen was charged for robbery and assault after he shoved the woman down the stairs and stole her purse and Nissan Altima.

The Post reported:
Surveillance video of the crime shows a young man pushing the victim, identified by family as Irene Tahliambouris, down the steps.
While she was on the ground, he ruthlessly stole her purse containing cash, a cellphone, a credit card and car keys, then drove away in her 2006 Nissan Altima.
The youngster, whose identity was not released because he’s a minor, was also charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
“The youngster?” Really? Don’t downplay this. I don’t whether this animal was 16 or 60 years of age. Of all places, this piece of trash “allegedly” assaults and robs a woman just steps from entering her place of worship, and you use the term “youngster?”
How about suspect? Or criminal? Or future defendant?
On top of it all, Tahliambouris is reportedly still in critical condition, most likely because it looked like the back of her head slammed against the ground when she fell down the steps after being assaulted by that “alleged” scumbag.
I’m not telling people what to do, and I know it’s difficult to do so, but what’s the purpose of living in New York City anymore? It’s a communist s**thole that rewards bad behavior, while taking as much as they can away from the regular people.
Maybe “Gotham City” actually needs a “Batman.”
