If you had Ben Shapiro rapping in a music video on your 2024 bingo card go play the lottery, because your card is Nostradamus.

Indeed, top independent rapper Tom MacDonald released his latest song on Friday, “Facts,” which features Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro. There was a lot of anticipation in the days leading up to the release of the song and video to see what role Shapiro would play.

One of Shapiro’s most famous catchphrases is what most likely got him a spot in both the song and the video — “Facts don’t care about your feelings.” The song focuses on not caring about offending people for speaking the truth.

For his part, Shapiro played the sidekick to MacDonald’s verses and even got in a verse of his own. Shapiro didn’t attempt to sound “hood,” or unlike what he naturally sounds like. It was almost comical that Shapiro sounded exactly as you would think Ben Shapiro would sound like rapping.

“Let’s look at the stats. I’ve got the facts. My money like Lizzo, my pockets are fat. Homey, I’m epic. Don’t be a WAP. Dog, it’s a yarmulke. Homey, no cap. Look at the graphs. Look at my charts. You’re blowing money on strippers and cars. You going to prison. I’m on television, dog. No one knows who you are. Keep hating on me on the internet. My comment section all woke Karens. And I make racks off compound interest. Y’all live with your parents. Nikki [Minaj], take some notes. I just did this for fun. All my people download this. Let’s get a Billboard number one!”

Shapiro’s part in the rest of the song was basically to be the unhype hype man for MacDonald, and it strangely works.

Is it the greatest thing you’re ever going to see? No. But, were we given something we never knew we wanted? Without asking for it? Yes.

Well done. Funny and accurate.
