Civilian owned and piloted drones are becoming more and more popular as they become more and more affordable. But just like any other hobby, enthusiasts are the ones that have the real fun.
Three friends get together in a wooded area and race against each other with their own customized drones. These things go pretty darn fast. You can't say it's not fun to watch. Especially when mounted lights on the rear ends of the drones make the race look like something out of Star Wars.
