Jeb Bush: 'People Believe We Are Still in a Recession Because We Are;' 'Progressive Agenda Has Failed'

Jeb Bush participated in an exclusive interview with Sean Hannity late Tuesday Night and, while he called many of his fellow Republican candidates his friends, he spared no amount of hurt on liberal leaders.

Hannity laid out the situation that the next president will be forced to overcome. A $20 trillion deficit, $100 trillion in unfunded liabilities, 93 million Americans out of work, 50 million Americans in poverty, and 46 million Americans who have been on food stamps for the past 40 months.

Bush was quick to say that these are utterly heartbreaking statistics that don't live up to a true American standard. "You can't dream big dreams. You're not going to be able to live the kind of life that we want everybody to live," he said.He also argued that these number's don't actually represent a political challenge. In Bush's mind, all that's needed is to be on the side of people willing to work for a better life.

"The one thing that Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, their philosophy and their ilk have proven is that a progressive agenda, run amuck, has failed," he declared.

"No one can say that we've underfunded these programs, there's been an explosion of spending," said Bush.

"People believe that we are still in a recession, because we are. People think we're on the wrong track, because we are."
