There are plenty of things that the establishment, propaganda media and the politicians that own them do and say to distract you from noticing changes in your everyday lives. They’ll talk to you about the 3,291st indictment they’re going to levy against former President Donald Trump. They’ll promote certain movies over others because they convey “the message.” And, but certainly not the end of the list of possible examples, they’ll lie to you about how great the economy is, when in reality it’s only good for them.

But, have you noticed the price at the pump going back up from already high prices recently? And while it may not matter to them, to everyday people like you or I, something as trivial (to them) as the price of gas is beginning to feel daunting once more.

Well, if you haven’t noticed — and why would you, really — the national average gas price has gone up 13 cents in the last week alone, with 12 of those cents coming in just the last three days, according to AAA.

The price of gas had been fluctuating a cent up here and a cent down there for a while now, hovering somewhere around the $3.50/gal. mark. But, a week ago the national average for a gallon of gas was $3.580/gal. and has shot up to Thursday’s average of $3.714/gal. Wednesday’s price came in at $3.687/gal., which means the price for a single gallon of gas, on average, went up three cents in one day after going up five cents on Tuesday.

While the average price for a gallon of gas is almost 59 cents lower than exactly one year ago, the fact that the price has been slowly creeping up until the explosion in the last few days shows that Bidenomics isn’t working for everyone like they would have you believe.

I know it doesn’t matter to the powers-that-be that the “plebs” are struggling, but with the majority of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, it certainly matters to those of us that truly matter.
