Following Michelle Fields' resignation from Breitbart News after she was allegedly manhandled by Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski, reports surfaced claiming that Fox News host Eric Bolling may have permanently banned her from his show over her claims.
Fields has filed charges against Lewandowski, accusing him of assaulting her at a Trump event. She then claimed Breitbart, a well-known conservative news organization, did not support her when she spoke out. Breitbart editor-at-large Ben Shapiro, national security reporter Jordan Schachtel and editor Jarrett Stepman also resigned over the issue.
Fields was once a regular on Eric Bolling’s “Cashin’ In” program on FOX News, and Bolling once promoted her on social media. But according to the Daily Beast, Bolling’s alleged pro-Trump stance led him to permanently kick Fields off his show.
Multiple sources “close to the situation” told the Daily Beast that Fields received a phone call from Bolling’s producer informing her that she will no longer appear on “Cashin’ In.”
“Fields was told that she’s off the show because she is no longer ‘impartial’ to Trump, and therefore cannot speak objectively on his candidacy so long as it’s in the news.”
However, an unnamed FOX News spokesman went to TheBlaze to refute the Daily Beast’s story, claiming no such conversation happened.
“There was never any discussion or directive to remove Michelle Fields from the program and certainly not by Eric Bolling,” a network spokesperson said in a statement provided to TheBlaze.
“The only recent conversation about her appearances on ‘Cashin In’ was with a show producer last night, and they mutually agreed to take her role as a guest panelist on a week-to-week basis,” the network representative added.
