At this point, can we consider Portland, Oregon a failed city? It doesn’t matter who the politicians or people in charge are, because no matter who it is, everyone loses. Plus, it doesn’t help that the city is basically run by far-left mental defectives — for the most part.

Yet another example of how dangerous it is to live around untamed far-leftists happened on Sunday night when “hundreds of people blocked busy intersections,” in what KOIN calls, “a street takeover.”

Think Seattle’s CHAZ/CHOP, but with even more “morally, upstanding” people who allow violence and will shoot Trump supporters when they enter their domain.

According to KOIN:

At the takeover at Northeast 72nd and Sandy, neighbors had to deal with squealing tires, burning rubber and a flamethrower. Residents who spoke off-camera with KOIN 6 News said there were hundreds of people involved.[…]

PPB officials said a large number of officers are needed for big crowd control events like street takeovers and racing. With staffing at historically low levels and several emergency calls Sunday night, there weren’t enough officers to safely respond.

Residents said they are worried the reckless behavior will leave someone hurt.

Duh, ya think? Then again, thinking isn’t a Portland citizen’s strong suit.

The only people that one could feel bad for are young children, because they don’t know any better. However, older children participate, or are influenced to do so, in much of the unrest that has plagued the city over the last few years.

“I don’t want these kids arrested,” one resident said. “I want there to be alternatives that seem better than doing donuts in the middle of the street.”

Yeah? Well, then get used to the chaos, because when’s there’s no repercussions for one’s actions, don’t expect them to stop that behavior. But, what do you expect from someone that’s a “resident” of Portland.

Doing donuts in a parking lot is sometimes just an activity that young people do. But, when that activity is taken to the streets in order to aid in a “takeover,” then it becomes more serious and should be addressed.

However, I don’t know if you caught it in the above passage from KOIN, but someone literally had a flamethrower. Don’t believe it? Well, there’s video.

Congrats to Portland on proving once again that you’d have to be a mental patient to want to live there.
