On Tuesday, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) ordered an impeachment inquiry into the extent of the president’s involvement in his son Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals.
By Wednesday the White House was getting ready to give its orders to the press. CNN reported it had obtained a draft copy of the letter to be sent out to select media written by Ian Sams, a spokesperson for the White House Counsel’s Office.
“It’s time for the media to ramp up its scrutiny of House Republicans for opening an impeachment inquiry based on lies,” the letter says.
McCarthy actually agrees the inquiry started off with lies - the ones mouthed openly by Joe Biden.

“Through our investigations, we have found that President Biden did lie to the American people about his own knowledge of his family’s foreign business dealings,” McCarthy said on Tuesday while announcing the inquiry, adding that “these allegations paint a picture of a culture of corruption.”
Giving more intense scrutiny and negative coverage to Republicans while protecting Biden is really nothing new for the leftist media. But still, it's so nice when the White House openly asks them to slant their coverage, isn't it?
