Was NYC Mayor Eric Adams taking a jab at the Biden administration Tuesday?

During a press conference Adams blamed Washington, DC for the huge influx of illegals entering the Big Apple.

“I don’t see an end to this flow if we don’t have real changes in Washington, DC. And as I was just saying, we can’t just say ‘let’s just figure out how do we find more money?’ Because we are limited in the money we can spend,” Adams said.

Biden officials have only recently started getting involved in talks about securing the border once it was clear the GOP would force the issue, as the fate of Biden’s emergency spending request for Ukraine would not move forward without an increase in US border security.

Or perhaps Adams has higher political aspirations, as he later said “thank God” that he was in power and making wonderful decisions for NYC, instead of somebody else, which would put the city “into a whole lot of trouble.”

“I just thank God that I’m mayor right now, during these times because of the life that I lived and my understanding of managing complex problems,” the very, very humble mayor said.

“I’m glad that I’m here, because there’s some other folks, if they were running the city right now, we’d be in a whole lot of trouble.”
