The U.S. Center for Disease Control Director Dr. Mandy Cohen is urging Americans to put masks back on – just in time for Christmas.
"To protect yourself and your family this holiday season, take the steps that we do every year," Cohen said in a CDC video posted to X last week.

“Get your Covid and flu vaccine and your RSV vaccine if you’re over 60. It’s not too late to get vaccinated if you haven’t already.” She then recommended using "additional layers of protection" including "wearing a mask."
