One of the many movies of 2023 that will soon be released includes Oppenheimer, a film about the story of American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer and the making of the atomic bomb.
Among the cast is famous actor Robert Downey Jr. who plays U.S. Atomic Energy Commission chairman Lewis Strauss.
Despite Downey Jr.’s many roles exuding exceedingly masculine traits, such as his roles as Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes – the man in real life seems far from what true masculinity looks like.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Downey Jr. claimed that men start wars and the planet should be run by women.

We live in a fallen world, where humankind tends to serve its own selfish interests, whether ill-intentioned or not, and it doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman.
Instituting a matriarchy is not going to make anything better at all, because women are capable of just as much violence as men and vice versa.
I am sure there are so many Marvel-loving families with children who look up to Iron Man, but are instead met with the real life Robert Downey Jr. – who is clearly only interested in spouting soft, mushy, left-wing ideology.
