CNN appears determined to race-bait in its coverage of the latest incident of police shooting a suspect. They spent two minutes in this segment interviewing a neighbor who merely heard the shots she could hear from her own home. They focused on this neighbor and her race speculations, as well as the teen’s family, echoing their thoughts of the boy’s race playing a role in the shooting.
Police reports tell a story of an officer responding to citizens' complains, and the teen allegedly attacking the officer, resulting in the use of lethal force.
But, CNN reports that the officer had a previous incident eight years ago in an attempt to demonize him.
