Several House Democrats lost their ever-loving crap on the floor of Congress Tuesday in support of Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib after House Republicans proposed censuring the Democrat “Squad” member for her calls for the annihilation of Israel and open peddling of Hamas propaganda.

Missouri Rep. Cori Bush, never one to turn down a visit to the looney bin, went on an unhinged tirade attempting to accuse her fellow representatives of not caring about “people who look like Rashida Tlaib” because they also don’t care about black people or women and want to uphold white supremacy…or…something.

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan “Some People Did Something” Omar then screamed into the microphone accusing other congressmen of not caring that Palestinians are dying “by the tens of thousands” - a figure that hasn’t been at all verified, by the way - before declaring that “the Palestinian movement will continue for liberation” - the same “liberation” that fueled Hamas’ terrorist attack - “until every single Palestinian is living in liberty.”

Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley called the censure motion “Another shameful but predictable ploy distraction from the real traffickers of hate who are obsessed with policing progressive women of color.” (Because, as we all know, you can’t objectively criticize a brown-skinned woman’s call for genocide without getting labeled a racist.)

For her part, Tlaib cried big crocodile tears claiming she was only speaking out in support of Palestinians desire to be “free” when she publicly posted the phrase “From the River To the Sea,” a known open cry for the destruction of Israel and the murder of the Jews.

Unfortunately for Tlaib, it looks like few except her own lunatic “Squad” buddies are in her corner on this one. Even rabid leftist Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz blasted Tlaib’s rhetoric over the weekend, pointing out that “This phrase [‘from the river to the sea’] means eradicating Israel and Jews. Period. Dressing it up in a new PR ploy won’t change that.”

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel wrote to Tlaib, “I have supported and defended you countless times, even when you have said the indefensible, because I believed you to be a good person whose heart was in the right place. But this is so hurtful to so many. Please retract this cruel and hateful remark.”
