Two people are dead and four others seriously injured after an 18-wheeler driven by a non-U.S. citizen on a work visa plowed straight into several cars sitting at a stoplight in Thomasville, Alabama.

Andrii Dmyterko, 45, has been charged with two counts of vehicular manslaughter following the horrific crash, which was caught clearly on a nearby dash cam. In the video, the truck doesn't appear to slow down or swerve in the least as it mowed down a line of stopped vehicles, decimating them all within seconds.

You've been warned - this isn't easy to watch.

The wreck left Ashley Marie Springer McDonald, 37, and Woodie Earl Beck III, 53, both dead at the scene, and sent four others to the hospital.

Dmyterko, who is reportedly in the country on a work visa, was driving for the Chicago-based (and ironically named) 4 U.S. Transportation Company. His passenger at the time of the crash, identified as 31-year-old Denys Kucher, is also a non-citizen in the U.S. on a work visa.

The tragedy has left many people asking why foreign-born migrants are being allowed to drive big rig trucks, despite being unfamiliar with driving in the U.S. and possibly not speaking fluent English, which could impact their ability to read roadsigns. It is legal for a non-citizen to obtain a CDL license in the United States, but the person has to be a legal permanent resident with a valid work permit. But that rule has raised some serious questions about public safety in the wake of several recent, major crashes that have left the bodies of U.S. citizens lying dead in the street.

Solomun Weldekeal Araya, 37, was driving for ZBN Transport LLC  out of Dallas when he caused a multi-vehicle pileup on I-35 In Texas that killed five and injured 17. He was charged with five counts of Intoxication Manslaughter and two counts of Intoxication Assault.

Ignacio Cruz-Mendoza was an illegal alien from Mexico who had already been deported 16 times when he drove off the side of US 285 in Colorado back in June of 2024, dumping his truck's load of metal pipes into several other vehicles and killing 64-year-old Scott Miller.

Back in April, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order mandating that anyone given a license to drive a commercial vehicle is "properly qualified and proficient in English" and ordering the Transportation Department to review state policies to ensure compliance, alleging that those requirements haven't been stringently applied in the recent past.
